Once you know more about an Artist personally I feel it helps you connect with their work and appreciate that piece or pieces you love and want to place in your collection at home.

I feel this is completely up the persons house in which it is hanging. Depending on their style and aesthetic. I personally gravitate to work that has similar colours palettes to my own, but love different compositions and subject matters within the work.

Spaces that compliment the size and concept of the artwork.
Frame the piece/s with appropriate frame tones. You can ask the Artist or Gallery for assistance with this!
Hang the pieces safely.
