Ashleigh Holmes Tips on How to Buy Art?
Find an Artist/s who you connect with, do your research on this particular Artist and find out about their story, journey and practise. Directly connect with the Artist or the gallery who represent them to find out about their exhibitions, upcoming shows, catalogues or commission pieces.
Once you know more about an Artist personally I feel it helps you connect with their work and appreciate that piece or pieces you love and want to place in your collection at home.

How to Mix and Match Art?
I feel this is completely up the persons house in which it is hanging. Depending on their style and aesthetic. I personally gravitate to work that has similar colours palettes to my own, but love different compositions and subject matters within the work.
How to frame and display
- Spaces that compliment the size and concept of the artwork.
- Frame the piece/s with appropriate frame tones. You can ask the Artist or Gallery for assistance with this!
- Hang the pieces safely.
