So, we are talking roses from our garden, right?

Not exactly. Rosehip Oil is a fruit oil that has been extracted from the seeds of the rosehip, a berry-like fruit that grows wild on rose bushes and is left behind after the rose has flowered and dropped its petals. 

Packed with ultra-rejuvenating vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids such as Retinol and Vitamin C, Rosehip Oil works to repair the signs of skin damage, treat the signs of aging, rebalance your natural oil production and even help to repair skin affected by scarring. 

The Range 

To provide a solid review of this collection, I switched out my skincare routine to use the entire RosehipPLUS^® range every day for one month. 

I quickly learned that a little goes a long way with the RosehipPLUS® Cold Pressed Rosehip Oil! Vibrant in color and smell, I massaged the 100% Rosehip Oil into my face, neck, and décolleté each morning and night. Incorporating my crystal roller, it became a mini self-care ritual. Immediately after, my skin appeared brighter and more hydrated. I love that the product also comes in a roller option which will be super convenient when traveling in the future. 

I layered the Hydrating Day Cream with my daily SPF protection each morning. Another vibrantly smelling product that immediately provided extra hydration. Noticing they’d paired the Rosehip Oil with ingredients like aloe, chamomile, and avocado, this would be a great day cream option for those wanting to calm irritated skin. I gave the day cream a hot minute to soak in before applying any makeup. 

Cleansing my skin at night with the RosehipPLUS^® Organic Daily Cream Cleanser was a dream. Normally a lover of gel-based cleansers, I wasn’t sure whether this cream cleanser would remove my zinc SPF and makeup as effectively. After a double cleanse (the golden rule of cleansing) with this product, not only was all my product removed but my skin felt intensely soft and hydrated.
Another win for angry skin sufferers, this cleanser features the calming and soothing properties of aloe, chamomile, and jojoba. 

The Nourishing Night Cream is like its namesake, packed with ultra-nourishing ingredients like cocoa seed butter, jojoba, and shea butter to lock in hydration and work its anti-aging magic whilst we sleep. Despite these nourishing butter, the cream is lightweight and layers well with the Rosehip Oil and other serums. 

Dealing with more than 10 weeks of working from home, air-conditioning, no professional skin treatments, and maybe a few too many iso wines has seen my skin feel more dehydrated than normal. After a month of using Rosehip Oil products, my skin has definitely seen a huge boost in hydration and suppleness.
