Everyday Humans, SPF30 Sunscreen Serum
I might admit that I’ve always been a little biased against sunscreens because they tend to have a white cast, purging my skin and leaving this greasy sensation that I personally don’t like. With my oily skin, I’m often wary of trying out new mineral sunscreens; however, when I finally tried Everyday Humans SPF 30 Sunscreen serum, I was surprised in the best way possible.
It’s a serum first, meaning it feels really pleasant on the skin and its light way, so it absorbs very quickly, leaving just a natural-looking glow that I really love. Even though it’s a mineral sunscreen doesn’t faint white cast at all! I also love it because its ingredients (hyaluronic acid, spinach, vitamin A, C, E and green tea. Not only I’m really enjoying wearing this daily SPF, but also my friends are borrowing it on the beach.
Biossace Squalane + Vitamin E Shimmering Body Oil
If heaven is a place on earth, then we have no doubt that wherever that is, we’d be wrapped in this squalane shimmering body oil from Biossance. From the Vitamin E that targets dry skin to plant-derived squalane that keeps moisture locked in, so skin is soft and supple, this oil is so lightweight and luxurious, and words can’t describe the finish over the skin leaving it with a sun-kissed glow that I can not be happier about it… I love to wear it during summer nights because it just upgrades my body care game — it feels so luxe and leaves the most beautiful shimmer on the skin without any greasy sensation or extra shimmer —
Trinny London, Lip2cheek Lip to Cheek – Lady J – perfect peachy nude –
When this Trinny’s multitasking beauty product landed on my desk, I was excited to try it out. I usually avoid putting anything on my lips when I’m working from home because they tend to crack easily but actually, this multitasking gave them a moisturised glossy, sheen that sheers me up even while I’m at home. Whilst I’d usually love creamy consistency— sometimes my oily skin doesn’t —
however, this texture gives my cheekbones a subtle sheen and pop of highlight without leaving my skin oily, patchy or with a pimple the next day, which is a big plus for me.

Charlotte Tilbury, Cheek to Chic
During summertime, I like to walk out the door with light makeup that enhances my natural tan, and how am I doing that these days? With the help of the Cheek to Chic in the O.G Pillow Talk shade. With luminous gold flecks in each shade, this blush will add an instant healthy sheen to your complexion for a gorgeous glow!
How I like to use this cutie?
- First, swish your powder brush around the outer shade & tap of the excess. Check our latest brush guide here to know which will be the perfect one for this makeup step. Then build your way up to the cheekbones starting from the apples, to structure your face.
- Next, swirl the same brush or go for a fan one for the glow shade and apply to the apples of the cheeks, sweeping up along the cheekbones.
This with a bit of BB cream and my favourite mascara from CT (yes I might be addicted to CT makeup products) is all I’m using these days to get a glowy yet natural look to wear from morning meetings date nights.
Oil Garden, Sleep Assist Roll-On
A must on my bedside table, this little blend of Sweet Orange, Lavender, Sweet Marjoram, and German Chamomile is the cure to any sleepless night. With a new year full of surprises and remaining mysteries of the current worldwide situation, there’s nothing that essential oils can’t help with.
Last year they were one of the best discoveries in terms of wellness for me, at the moment I’m learning how they can uplift your mood naturally, and all I have to say is that it’s been a game-changer!
So if you’re looking for a quick sleep fix apply your roll to temples, chest, and back of neck before sleep, and just let the power of this blend do its thing, you’ll thank me later. And if you want to learn more about essential oils and how they can support you, I really recommend you A Scented Life: Aromatherapy reimagined by Pat Princi Jones
Skinceuticals, Retexturing Activator Serum
Another great discovery of 2020, Skinceuticals is known for delivering great results with its powerful solutions. If you know me you should know how much I love a good liquid exfoliant (hello clear face) I’m normally leaning towards AHAs, BHAs or PHAs. When talking about chemical exfoliation, but not on this case, as the Retexturing is made up of HA (Hyaluronic Acid), Kombucha and Hydroxyethyl Urea, the real star of the formula.
In case you didn’t know it I have always had an oily complexion and suffer from acne and hyperpigmentation, which is slightly changing to a more even texture and almost 0 to few scars. I’ve noticed a great improvement in my cheeks in particular, so if you’re on the quest of a glowy and clear skin then this bougie buy will be worth adding to your skincare routine, trust me.
