Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt
I know this hair scrub has been in the market for a while, but for some reason, until 2022, I didn’t add it to my haircare routine. All I have to say is that it’s a game-changer…
My hair has never felt as clean and soft since I used this purifying scrub. Also, my oily roots last longer clean; even though it’s pricey, a little bit goes a long way.
RRP: $71.00
Oribe Hair Care Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo
Talking about hair, for me, It is really hard to fall in love with shampoos. However, adding Oribe Gold Lust Repair Shampoo and Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub to my routine is keeping my hair looking shiny and healthier than ever before. Last year I received many compliments about my hair from friends and fellow beauty editors, and without a doubt, the secret is these two hair products combined together.
RRP: $72.00
Pure Mama Bump Scrub
I have actually been trying this body exfoliator for only a month or so, but it’s the best body scrub I tried in 2022. Smell like holidays, and it kind of reminds me of the smell of the cult Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Body Cream, with the difference that Pure Mama Bump Scrub is packed without any nasties, so it is obviously safe for pregnant women but also for people who are more conscious about ingredients.
RRP: $55.00
Nécessaire The Body Wash Bergamot
I’ve been enjoying every single drop of this Bergamot body wash; it looks, smells and feels so luxe in the shower, allowing me to have a whole sensorial experience after a long day. Winner!
RRP: $38.00
Emma Lewisham Skin Reset Serum
I don’t remember how many times I mentioned this face serum last year, but while deciding which skincare product is going to keep being essential this year, Emma Lewisham Skin Reset is a winner.
I took Skin Reset with me three times to Europe last year, and I didn’t regret it. I can definitely see changes in my skin since I’ve been using Skin Reset, and I’m not planning to stop using it in 2023.
RRP: $150.00
ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40
For me, this skin tint is the most beautiful foundation I tried in 2022. It leaves the most natural coverage that it is almost hard to tell that you are wearing makeup, plus it is packed with lovely ingredients such as Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid.
Even though my beauty drawer is full of different foundations, I found myself always coming back to ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40.
RRP: $72.00
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze
If you are like me, but don’t have the time to sit in the chair for an hour every month to get the brows laminated, then this product is for you. I love how precise this brow gel is.
The results? My brows last the whole day looking intact, with a genuinely laminated look.
RRP: $36.00
Allie’s 2022 Beauty Favourites
Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick
After first launching in 1971, Clinique’s much loved Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is going viral yet again and I completely understand why. This buildable, balmy and truely universally flattering lipstick is the perfect mix of berry and brown that manages to add an air of casual chicness to any look. Be prepared for compliments!
RRP: $41.00
Ciate London Dewy Stix
In my humble opinion, Ciaté is criminally underrated and Dewy Stix is possibly my favourite find of 2022. It is a highlighter and oil stick that delivers the most deliciously dewy (but never greasy or sticky) shimmer free sheen I’ve tried yet. I apply it along my arms, legs and collar bones, and tap it into my cheekbones for a glowy finish, comb it through my brows and baby hairs to keep them in place, and even use it as a lip balm.
RRP: $41.00 – 27g
Kit: Melatonin Night Balm
After never having a dedicated night cream, Kit: has completely converted me. I love the silky texture of this balm, its soft naturally derived fragrance, and that I get to wake up with plump, hydrated skin every morning without fail.
RRP: $45.00 – 50ml
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Mask
Even for ridiculously dry skinned people like me, this congestion zapping clay mask from Kiel’s manages to smooth unwanted texture, soothe redness and shrink enlarged pores without stripping the skin. The betonite, aloe vera and amazonian clay formula targets bacteria and and dead skin cells to reveal a brighter, clearer complexion.
RRP: $58.00 – 125ml
Davines Oi Liquid Lustre
Whenever my hair is looking a little dull or dry I love using Davines’ incredible liquid shine treatment. It only takes a few seconds to apply and can be immediately washed out and followed by a regular conditioner. I’ve been using it for a few months now and am still shocked at how fabulously shiny my hair becomes after each use.
RRP: $75.00 – 300ml
iS Clinical LiProtect SPF 30
I’ll be the first to admit that spending $44.00 on a wind up tube of lip balm is slightly ridiculous but for iS Clinical’s LiProtect I am more than happy to. The formula is packed with hydrating antioxidants, vitamin E, zinc oxide and titanium oxide for maximum protection, collagen stimulation and healing. It also has a faint vanilla almond scent that I can’t get enough of.
RRP: $44.00 – 5g
