Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil Review
I only had a few days to test Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil before publishing the story; however, when the gold bottle landed on my desk and I read the ingredients list, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was willing to give it a go as I’m always on the hunt for a spa-like radiance!
To put you in a bit of context, I have a combination — to oily skin — depending on the season — and my skin tends to break out, so testing facial oils is always tricky for me. However, Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil is different from other oils that I have tried before. First, because it is so lightweight and not comedogenic — bonus point — meaning my skin has been free of acne for the last two weeks. Second, it works in tandem with any skincare routine.
When applied under makeup, especially under Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation, the glow the skin gets is really lovely.
I like the fact that I can incorporate it easily into my morning or night routine. Just a few drops after my moisturiser locks in moisture, helping to hydrate the skin. When I pressed the oil into my skin, I could definitely feel its presence, but the good news is that it absorbed so quickly that you won’t notice the facial oil after a few minutes.
Is it for you? Whether you deal with dryness or are like me on the oilier side, this product is a great addition to your skincare routine or even before applying makeup. However, I would definitely use it more during the coldest months, just because I like to use less products on my skin when the humidity hits my skin.
Is it worth it? I mean, if you want to have that healthy skin look that everyone wants to have, you might need to add to card. The good news is that a little bit goes a long way, so you spend $100 for 30ml, but it will probably last a whole year long.
