It’s that time of the year again when new purchases are made ahead of Christmas parties and social gatherings… We know that spending money on clothes after the awful year we have had may feel pointless but if you can afford it, you will wear it more than once in 2021 and if you know that it will bring a little bit of joy that we are all missing right now, then there is the perfect excuse to treat yourself.
We asked Ana and Belen what they’ve been wrapping up for themselves this holiday season and from maxis to minis (via midis, obv) below the Christmas party outfits the CF editors are wearing.
The Christmas Party Outfits
Why it’s my option?
It’s extremely comfy, super easy to wear, and elegant too—basically everything I look for in a dress. But as usual, it’s the print for me. I love the puffy sleeves neatly finished with a gathered cuff.

“The waistband, the soft fabric, and leg split are my favourite design elements—so chic, and each one makes this dress even easier to wear. It was an instant staple as soon as it hit my closet!”
Perfect for
“String-lit summer dinners, Christmas lunch and even work for a casual day at the office—she fits in everywhere!”
To be honest, I have always been this kind of girl who likes to dress up a bit on Christmas day and sure, a cocktail dress or evening gown is fabulous to wear, but this Christmas I sadly can’t travel to Europe so for the Sydney’s hotter weather I will rather be comfortable yet chic.
I’ve been loving this Boden midi dress – on sale now – that only made me more determined to get my hands on it. It looks so chic, and classy, also can we get a moment for the timeless floral print? I’m sure I’ll wear it more than once. I’ll pair it with my new Oran sandals which I’ve been wanting for so long, plus the super cute Alva Day bag from Oroton and the sustainable yet elegant necklace from Jackie Mack Designs – A basic but chic outfit perfect for my Christmas lunch –
Why it’s my option?
For summer days I love to go for colourful pieces, that’s why I feel this combo sums up everything I can be asking for the season ahead. Light, comfy and super wearable are the adjectives that best describe my Christmas choice.

I’ve been looking for a nice pleated skirt for the last few seasons but with no luck til this time, that I found a fresh and fun piece. In case you were wondering, yes, the pleated details are there to create a beautiful movement when you walk.
Perfect for
This combo is perfect for every single moment, from a summery morning to a more chill afternoon, no matter if you’re up to a casual or fancy function, the key to rock it in every occasion will be the accessories.
Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, not only because of all it entails but also because is my Bday and who doesn’t like to get a bit pampered for their special day? Summer for me means bright colours and soft fabrics, so when I stumbled upon this Boden combo I knew we’ll be friends very soon.
Classy but with a twist that’s how I like it, and that’s all I can see when I look myself in the mirror with this outfit. From the bohemian earrings from Gypseye to the blouse and skirt both from Boden to finish it up with a creamy touch with my beloved Malin Croissant from Oroton and a pair of sandals from Mara & Mine that brights everything up.
