The first rays of sunshine and warmer weather is upon us, meaning sunscreen is non-negotiable. The UVA and UVB increase the risk of developing melanoma and cause premature ageing and pigmentation— In fact, the best anti-wrinkle treatment, aside from retinol, is daily sun protection—.
Luckily we are more aware of sun damage, and sunscreen formulas have come a long way in the last few years —
Forget about thick, greasy, and chalky sunscreens — And say hi to lightweight formulas that won’t clog the pores, such as La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF50+.

Difference Between UVA and UVB
- UVA: (Ultraviolet A)
It is a form of radiation that is associated with skin ageing. UVA rays cause skin cell damage. Also, these rays are present all year round, all day long, even when the day is cloudy or rainy.
- UVB: (Ultraviolet B)
It is also a form of radiation that cause skin burning. UVB rays penetrate and damage the visible layers of the skin, which can cause sunburn. Although the sun’s rays are strongest in the late morning and the middle of the day, UVB rays are present daily and lead to skin damage.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF50+ Review
Sunscreen has become (Thanks god) my go-to skincare product in the past years. I actually get nervous if I get out of the house without wearing my sunscreen on. However, I have suffered from acne for more than a decade, meaning putting on test sunscreens is always challenging for me, but as a part of my job description —I have to do anything in the name of beauty— And after hearing and reading many good reviews about this non-comedogenic sunscreen, I had to give it a go.
For full disclosure, I took this sunscreen with me to Europe and had been trialling it for more than a month.
The first thing I noticed when I applied La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF50+ was how lightweight and easy to spread the sunscreen was. It absorbs in seconds, leaving a nice glowy without the greasy look that normal sunscreen usually leaves on the skin. You need to give it a good shake before applying, as it comes out very liquid, but it’s something that doesn’t bother me at all. I usually apply a whole tablespoon to the face and neck as the last step of my morning skincare routine.
As the weather in Europe was very warm while I was trialling Anthelios Invisible Fluid, and my skin gets more greasy during summer, I noticed that I didn’t need to apply my moisturiser in the morning after my vitamin C serum, as Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF50 not also does the job protecting my skin from the UVA and UVB, but also hydrating my skin during the day.
I’ve been using Anthelios Invisible Fluid from breakfast to the beach and even during early dinners under my makeup, and I didn’t get even one new pimple — Which is rare for me —; plus, the fact that I can use it as a moisturiser too is a double bonus.
I found it a great option for people who suffer from breakouts, adult acne and teenagers, too, as the price is very affordable for the amazing quality.
What I like the most about this sunscreen is that it doesn’t leave a white cast, and you don’t actually feel you are wearing sunscreen — Should you buy it? There are more fancy look sunscreens in the market that are fabulous too, but if you don’t want to spend your dollars and don’t care too much about the packaging, La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios Invisible Fluid Facial SPF 50+ is a fantastic option. As it’s completely safe to use and has been developed using a strict formulation with a minimal number of ingredients, meaning does the job and will make you fall in love with sunscreens again — I promise you won’t regret it —
