So many good netflix choices, you wish quarantine won’t be over any time soon!

At this time you’ve probably streamed all the library on Netflix. I am right? And with the cold days coming what’s better than a cuppa and some new content to stay cozy all day long, yep that’s why I thought, watching your cult series and movies on repeat is good until some point, but if you’re tired of devouring the same titles over and over I have something right on time for your weekend, just bear with me and you’ll see that Netflix has something for one and each of you no matter if you’re more of dramas, addictive reality TV shows, quality comedy, true crime, or even the darkest content.

Giving thanks for such varied streaming options to binge, here are CF’s top picks of the best shows and movies May 2020:

Hollywood (01/05)

Missing La La Land? This brand-new miniseries will give you that feeling of dream right back, directed by Ryan Murphy takes place in a post-WWII Hollywood where a group of aspiring actors are followed as they try to make it in Tinseltown—no matter the cost. And features an all-star cast including Patti LuPone, Mira Sorvino, Samara Weaving, Holland Taylor, and Maude Apatow.

Dead To Me (08/05)

The last season of this irreverent Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini dark series left off with a major cliffhanger, and season 2 picks up with the duo harbouring another extremely dark secret. This 100% addictive series is full of plot twists and secrets but also showcases the strength of female friendships and the struggles of both a single parent and a woman battling fertility issues.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (12/05)

One of the funniest series of the last years is back on track with the lovely Kimmy on the frontline, just this time Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is going interactive. The newest instalment of the series lets the viewer decide what will happen to Kimmy. Not to spoil but… Will she successfully fight off the evil Reverend to make it to her wedding on time?

The Butterfly Effect (15/5)

An oldie but goodie (2004) Who here doesn’t love a good Ashton Kutcher gig? This time as a college student, Evan Treborn is afflicted with headaches so painful that he frequently blacks out. While unconscious, Evan is able to travel back in time to some difficult moments in his childhood. He can also alter the past for their friends, like Kayleigh (Amy Smart), who was molested by her father (Eric Stoltz). The perfect ally for those popcorn and blanket nights.
